Skull Copper, from Michigan. The copper was formed around another rock or nodule and erodes away leaving just the copper.

Next Meeting

THE NEXT MEETING WILL BE ON SATURDAY FEBRUARY 21st FROM: 11:00 am. – 1:00 pm. Room A at the Kansas City Public Library, Waldo Branch. 201 E 75th St. K.C. MO 64114

Visitors are welcome to attend.

Most meeting are held on the 3rd Saturday of the month from 11:00 am. to 1:00 pm. The exception is the December meeting. The time and location for the meeting for the member Christmas party will be announced later and included in the member newsletter.

Any change in meeting times will be listed on this website. Meeting dates or times may vary depending on availability of the venue.

Be sure to check the website for any changes to time, day or date of future meetings.

In case of inclement weather – check the Kansas City Public Library website home page for any library closures.

Members can email pictures of their work, rocks, cabs, slabs or finds, etc. or post them on Facebook. facebook.com/showmerockhounds.
